Inclement Weather Policy

General Rule of Thumb:

If Mifflin County School District is closed, all afternoon and evening youth programs are cancelled, and adult programs will be at the discretion of the YMCA.

If Mifflin County School District has a two hour or three-hour delay, group exercise classes that occur before 10 AM are at the discretion of the instructor. Please check the YMCA's Facebook Page, the Juniata Valley YMCA’s Group Fitness Facebook page, or call into the YMCA (717) 248-5019 and see if classes are on or canceled.

If Mifflin County School District dismisses early, all afternoon and evening youth programs are cancelled, and adult programs will be at the discretion of the YMCA.

Morning Childcare

*If the morning group fitness instructor cancels their class we will not have childcare for that morning. If the group fitness instructor chooses to have their class we will have childcare that morning.

Evening Childcare

*If the YMCA is open there will be evening childcare, if the YMCA is closed for the day or closes early for the day obviously there will be no childcare.
